hello, my name is Laura Rachel Weiner, my friends call me little weiner. I consider myself to be good at a lot of different things. I am always up for trying something new and I am very friendly so if you ever want to ask me something or talk to me, feel free to.  

My father went to Tyler University and he is an art teacher/ ceramics artist. Personally, I like using chalk pastels and I really appreciate water colors, even though I'm pretty inexperienced in that medium. I like art that makes sense and isn't just thrown down on a piece of paper with an outrageous price tag. Surrealism is one of my favorite but I enjoy realism also. I'm also beginning to get into throwing on the wheel and sculptor, I am a ceramics studio in my backyard since that's what my dad does for a living.

Other than art, I enjoy dancing, playing the piano, reading, going to concerts and meeting new people.

I hope to get to know everyone in this class and I am very eager to learn in this new medium.
